Christmas Classics

I have been spending my evenings this week watching all the 'Christmas Classics' with Peepers. They have brought back many memories. I remember being young and looking forward to these shows myself.

Then for the past 20yrs, my viewing pleasures have not been complete without watching 'A Christmas Story.' I cannot even explain why I love this movie so much but I will watch it over and over. A story told by Ralphie about his childhood one Christmas. Some clippets from the movie.

You know I love this stuff. I saw Ralphie last night and I'm sure he will be on again all of Christmas day. I missed Rudolph though :(

I love Christmas Story, too. And will watch it over and over. Watched Rudolph while on the treadmill last night.

PS - Love the redesign!

I am SO glad that Ralphie and the gang are on for 24 hours straight!!! We don't even bother to change the channel!!

So cool that you are introducing your daughter to all of these classics. We did the same, and, at 16, she still can't get enough of them!

Christmas Story is a favorite here too. I also watch Miracle On 34th Street over & over because I still have hope that there really is a Santa Claus. Do they still show Snoopy Christmas? I've always loved that one too. Trading Places has also become a Christmas tradition around here. I'm such a movie slut...

I can't help it... I start singing "just put one foot in front of the other..... and soon you'll be walking out the dooo-hooorr--hoorrr-hooorrrr!!"

(of course, could be because I desperately want a new job! ha..ha.ha.)

OKAY...I'm wondering here...you being my daughter and all....when did you watch the CHRISTMAS STORY? WHERE WAS I? I remember all the animated/cartoon Christmas Classics and White Christmas and Miracle on 24th st, and Scrooge etc but I have NEVER seen this story with Ralphie?!

As I said I started watching it when I was about 20. Todd got me started on it.

I always dressed my kids like Ralphie before sending them out in the snow.

They seriously deserved it.
