Pleasing Procrastinator

I know some people get sick of kid stories but I just love what comes out of a child's mouth because they speak without thinking anything about what they say.



Peepers and I were on our way to one of our favorite stores yesterday when she yelled from the back seat, 'Look Mommy there's daddy's truck.' I said what, daddy's @ work, remember we just talked to him. Her reply, No, look it's daddy's beer truck, that's daddy's truck!! LOOK! As I look at the truck going through the intersection this is what I see.I thought, 'He Only Wishes that was his.'

Once we arrived to Tar-jay and walking around doing some shopping there was a mother and her children by the milk and ice cream the kids were asking for Ice cream and talking somewhat loudly. Peepers was on the other side of the cart so she couldn't see them but the mother could hear her when she announced, ' Mommy I hear the Chipmunks.'I again respond with a 'WHAT? She tells me she hears The Chipmunks, do you hear them mom? I turn to look at something and by golly that ladies children DO sound like The Chipmunks. Being the wonderful mom I am, as I am laughing I explain to her that those are the children talking and we need to be quiet.
